Syracuse.com seems to have trumped Governor Andrew Cuomo's big Nano-Utica announcement.

The website's Mark Weiner released a story just after 10:30 this morning saying the Governor is in Utica today to announce a $2-billion dollar investment from two companies - GE and an Austrian sensor manufacturer - and 2,000 jobs in the Utica area.

Turns out though, the report was a bit shy of what Governor Cuomo is promising the Mohawk Valley. During the his announcement, Cuomo said General Electric would return to area bring 1,470 jobs, along with another 1,000 jobs from AMS- an Austrian chip manufacture - saying the total investment would top $4-Billion dollars.
