Remember “Back to the Future Day” last October when the internet celebrated the date — October 21, 2015 — Marty McFly traveled to in Back to the Future II? And how to commemorate the occasion Nike announced the self-lacing Air Mag sneakers that Marty wore in the film? Not to be outdone, Fox and Reebok have collaborated on another anniversary shoe announcement. On April 26, “Alien Day,” Rebook will release the Alien Stompers, an exact replica of the high-top sneakers Sigourney Weaver wore in Aliens.

Like the sneakers in Back to the Future, the Stompers were created by Reebok specifically for their film. They were made publicly available for a short period of time after Aliens opened in theaters (then called the Alien Fighter Shoe), but now 30 years later will be available to all who want to buy them. In addition to the high-tops that Ripley wears in the film, fans will also be able to purchase the mid-tops worn by Bishop. No price was announced, but you should probably start saving your money now.

So how did April 26 become Alien Day? Well, because every good franchise needs to have a “day” now and Fox saw this as an opportunity to get people interested and talking about the franchise again. As for why they picked April 26, it’s a nod to the planet LV-426 (4/26, get it?).

In addition to the ability to spend your hard-earned money on a pair of retro sneakers, Fox will also be showing a double feature of Alien and Aliens at Alamo Drafthouse locations, Amazon’s Audible will be release a brand-new audio drama, Alien: Out of the Shadows, starring Rutger Hauer, and Fox will be holding an online trivia challenge in which movie fans compete for prizes every 42.6 minutes.

The Reebok Alien Stompers will be available on April 26 at Reebok.com and select Reebok stores.
