A selection of recording equipment used by John Lennon and housed at his home studio in the Tittenhurst Park mansion in Berkshire, UK, will hit the auction block on May 11th. Items in the online auction will include a selection of microphones, vintage tape machines, mixing desk from the Abbey Road Studio and various memorabilia items from the Beatles. Officials expect the auction to raise at least $500,000. Lennon operated the studio as Ascot Sound Studios before selling the mansion to Ringo Starr.
