Dominic Moore was able to plant himself in the crease at the right time to redirect a Kevin Hayes shot into the net giving the Rangers a 2-1 win in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday afternoon.

The deflection off Moore's leg - which was reviewed to determine that Moore did not make make a kicking motion to knock the puck in - came with just 2:35 left in regulation and was his first of the postseason. Each of New York's 13 playoff games this year have been decided by one goal and nine of the 13 have ended in a 2-1 final (The Blueshirts are 7-2 in those games).

Henrik Lundqvist stopped 23 of 24 shots in net for New York, allowing only Ondrej Palat's one-timer over his glove-shoulder 6:45 into the third.

Tampa Bay's Ben Bishop was beaten twice in 28 attempts, the first of which came with just 13 seconds remaining in the second period. Derek Stepan slide one past the 6-foot-7 goalie for his four goal of the playoffs.

Madison Square Garden will also be the site of Game 2, on Monday night at 8:00 p.m.
