A Flood Watch and Winter Storm Watch has been issued by the National Weather Service out of Binghamton and includes all kinds of weather.

The Flood Watch and a Winter Storm Watch are in effect from tonight through Saturday night for Northern Oneida-Madison-Southern Oneida- Including Boonville, Hamilton, Oneida, Rome, and Utica. Heavy mixed precipitation will make travel conditions hazardous. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches, with localized amounts up to 9 inches, and ice accumulations of one-tenth to two-tenths of an inch are possible.

Temperatures will rise through the 40s today and into the 50s tonight and Friday. With an additional 1 to 2 inches of rain moving through the area, a combination of snow melt, rainfall and potential ice jams may cause flooding on local rivers and streams. Rivers and streams could see locally fast and significant rises in the vicinity of any ice jams.

Today: A chance of showers, mainly before 11 am. Cloudy, with a high near 45.        Southeast wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tonight: A chance of showers before midnight, then rain, mainly after midnight. Patchy fog before 11 pm, then patchy fog after midnight. Low around 45. Southeast wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three-quarters of an inch possible.
Friday: Rain, mainly before 3 pm. Areas of fog before 4 pm. Temperature falling to around 42 by 5 pm. South wind 6 to 9 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three-quarters of an inch possible.
Friday Night: Rain or freezing rain before 1 am, then sleet between 1 am and 4 am, then snow and sleet after 4 am. Low around 15. North wind 9 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New ice accumulation of around a 0.2 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of around 2 inches.
Saturday: Snow. High near 16. North wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
Saturday Night: A chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around -3. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
