Utica Police Setting Up Sobriety Checkpoints Weekend of August 21, 2014
Beginning on Thursday August 21, 2014, Utica Police will join with state and county officers on a Stop DWI Crackdown.
UPD said on their Facebook page today:
As you make plans for the upcoming weekend we want to remind all motorists to use good judgment, arrive at your destination safely by buckling up, driving sober, and putting down your electronic devices. Sobriety Check Points will be utilized to assist law enforcement in identifying distracted and impaired drivers. Local law enforcement agencies will be highly visible starting Thursday August 21st throughout the weekend.
