Police Release Sketch of Man Rachael Mattice Claims Kidnapped Her

Do you recognize this man? He's the man Rachael Mattice says kidnapped her from a camp in Wells, New York.

Police released the sketch and are asking anyone with information to contact the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office at 518-548-3113.

The man is described as 6-foot-tall, in his mid 50s to early 60s and weighs between 200-250 pounds. He has brown eyes, gray hair and a full beard. Police say he was last seen wearing jeans and a navy blue T-shirt and smelled like he was a smoker.

Mattice went missing June 22nd. Rachael’s father Dave went to visit her at the family camp on Algonquin Lake and saw her vehicle was there with the car door open, but she was gone. Mattice returned to her Johnstown home after being gone for approximately 2 weeks.

After being evaluated at the hospital, Mattice told police she was kidnapped. She's been working with authorities to describe the man who held her against her will.

State Police worked with Hamilton County Sheriff’s to follow up on 300 leads with K9 and aviation after Mattice went missing.
