2014 hasn't been over for very long, but Sony already has the statistics for its biggest sellers of the year and wants them to be known.

While the list that Sony has produced on the PlayStation Blog doesn't fully represent all of the best selling video games of 2014, there are quite a few surprises in regards to the PS Store's hottest items. Less than three weeks into the new year, Sony revealed its top 10 PS Store games for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PS One Classics. Also revealed were the top selling five PlayStation 4 Add-ons and PlayStation 3 Add-ons.

As expected, Destiny, Grand Theft Auto V, Minecraft, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes topped multiple lists in the rundown (we have a feeling these games would top many of Xbox's lists as well). One of the most surprising titles that appeared was Sword Art Online -Hollow Fragment-, which took first place in the PlayStation Store's PS Vita sales.
