With the announcement of Sony's PlayStation 4 in February, many new it would be out this holiday season but was not known if it would start in one region then exceed into others over time. Just today, Sony has announced that the PlayStation 4 will be out globally this holiday season.

According to gamespot:

"We know that Sony will introduce the PlayStation 4 globally in 2013, but we are still waiting to see what Microsoft's final plans are," Hogan said (via Seeking Alphatranslation). "We have scenarios with one console introduction, as well as with two."

There are already games being advertised for the next generation consoles so it’s still unknown if the PlayStation 4 will have a game bundle or just the console.

With this announcement, this may push the development of Microsoft’s Xbox 720. What do you think? Will you buy the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox 360?
