The Far Cry series is celebrated for its open-ended gameplay and cutting edge visuals, but the first-person-shooter franchise is also known for its immersive and lush settings. The first game took place on a tropical archipelago in the South Pacific, while Far Cry 2 shifted the action to a central African nation. Far Cry 3 revisited the tropical theme, but Far Cry 4 will change the environment again by dropping players in the heart of the Himalayas. To commemorate the new setting, publisher Ubisoft is offering players a chance to play Far Cry 4 in the actual Himalayas, atop the world’s highest mountain, Mt. Everest.

IGN reports that Ubisoft will send one “lucky” player, along with qualified climbers, to Nepal to hike to Mt. Everest’s base camp with the Quest for Everest contest. There, the winner will have a chance to play Far Cry 4 on a one-of-a-kind device that’s built to stand up to the rigors of an extreme mountain excursion.

To enter, would-be adventurers need to send a two-minute video explaining why they are most qualified for the climb. Ubisoft urges contestants to be as creative as possible in their videos, and warns that the trip will be dangerous; “There is inherent risk of death and significant injury to persons and property associated with the Quest for Everest experience and by participating, winner understands and assumes this risk." The contest runs until Aug. 15, and the winner will be announced at PAX Prime in Seattle.

Far Cry 4 is set for a  Nov. 18 release on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
