Paul McCartney seems to be on the mend and has left the Tokyo hospital that he was admitted a few days ago. Sir Paul was suffering from a virus and was forced to cancel several concerts. Here's the latest.

According to a story by Dave Lifton on ultimateclassicrock.com:

"The worst of Paul McCartney‘s recent health problems appear to be over. The rock legend has apparently been released from a Tokyo hospital, where he was admitted on March 22, and has left the country.

On the website for his now-postponed tour of Japan is a message from the organizer. It suggests that he checked out of his hotel on Monday and was leaving the country on a chartered plane. The message also says that McCartney will look to re-schedule the dates, and that he apologizes to his fans for any inconvenience that canceling may have caused.

The concerts were supposed to feature the debut of “Newman,” a robot who appears with McCartney in his video for ‘Appreciate.’

His illness, as of now, is not expected to interfere with McCartney’s U.S. tour, which begins June 14 in Lubbock, Texas, the hometown of McCartney’s idol, Buddy Holly."

On my in to the radio station today, I was listening to Paul McCartney's latest CD, "New", which is one of his best! And, he's just released a new video to one of the songs on that new album, "Appreciate", which seems so appropriate as Sir Paul truly appreciates all the love poured out by his fans (like us) during his recent illness. Let's take a look:
