If you have an unpaid parking ticket in the City of Utica, you can pay it without late fees from March 20th to March 31st.

Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri says the city will grant amnesty of late fees and accept the original fine for parking tickets issued from March 2011 to December 2016.

Tickets issued in 2017 are not eligible for late fee amnesty.

All payments must be made in person at City Hall or mailed to the parking ticket office and be postmarked no later than March 31st.

Palmieri says the city will actively step up the booting process of cars with overdue fines once the amnesty program ends.

Vehicles with three unpaid parking tickets in an 18-month period can be booted.  A boot ticket carries a fine of $150 and cannot be reduced.
