Light's, Camera, Action! Open casting call for the film 'Pottersville' will be held at Park United Methodist Church, 17 Broad St., Hamilton. 

Syracuse.com says Monday, Jan. 4, the search begins for locals 12 and older to play customers, bankers, families, old timers, pedestrians, party people, a paperboy, teenage friends, tourists and townspeople. Everyone is invited to audition and must be available for filming Jan. 6-Jan 29. Those hired will earn $110 daily, plus breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Auditions will take place at Park United Methodist Church, 17 Broad St., Hamilton,  from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. All candidates must bring a current, clear headshot, as well as a resume.

Michael Shannon is set to begin shooting a new indie film called Pottersville. The movie, which is being produced by Ron Perlman’s Wing and a Prayer Pictures, is rumored to center around a man named Maynard who “gets swept up in a sighting of Bigfoot”...Alec Baldwin was once rumored to star in Pottersville but he reportedly backed out due to scheduling conflicts. Adam Scott has also been attached to the project.
