Atop One World Trade Center in New York City is a 408-foot spire with lights on it. In honor of the Syracuse Women's basketball team competing for a National Title against the UCONN Women's Huskies tonight the lights will be colored Orange and Blue.

On his website, Governor Andrew Cuomo said,

There’s no denying that the UConn women are a force to be reckoned with – but with the resilience the Syracuse women have shown, I have a feeling there’s one more upset left in this season. People doubted the Orange earlier in the tournament – only to be proven wrong by a team that defied the odds to earn a trip to the Final Four for the first time in program history. I wish the best of luck to Coach Q and the women’s team in the final game of what has already been a season for the ages.

Couldn't have said it better ourselves. What an amazing season it has been thus far for both the men and women's teams. Let's bring that title to the Carrier Dome.
