One Out Of Seven Of Us File Taxes Late

Actually, not so much of a shocker that taxes are due here in a couple of weeks.  Who has filed (aside from those receiving a refund)?  If you file yours late, don't feel like you're alone.  the latest survey indicates that one in seven Americans say they have filed their taxes late at least once.  Of that group, 32% blame the fact that they were just not organized.  29% blame it on an emergency situation, and 28% say it was simply procrastination.  The survey also indicated that 18% are afraid of getting audited.  I guess you can't get audited if you don't file, right?  Not sure if that is a good reason not to file.   True, there are a lot of services out there to help you file your taxes, but like me, a lot of people don't want to pay for a service that simply won't get them a refund.  Every year, I tell myself to change my withholding, but I just never seem to get around to it.
