Every night around 10:50 we spotlight music that was on the stage that day in history. Tonight’s spotlight is on The Beatles and “Let It Be”.

Let’s take you back to the year 1970, Nixon was in office and The Fab Four were on your dial. On April 11th 1970 Paul McCartney announced a “temporary break with the Beatles.” He cited “personal differences” and adding that he will no longer record with John Lennon.

The last single the Beatles released in the UK before their break-up was ‘Let It Be’ released in March 1970. Tonight’s spotlight is on the last Beatles Single, “Let It Be”
