The Great New York State Fair has some new parking opportunities that you can take advantage of this year.

The Fair has teamed up with Centro to restructure their park-n-ride services to make ride and wait times shorter, and this year all trams from parking lots will be free.

Park-N-Ride Shuttles Will Run From:

  • The large parking lots at Destiny USA's Solar St. parking lots every 8 to 10 minutes from 10 a.m. to midnight
  • Long Branch Park near Liverpool every 12 to 15 minutes from 10 a.m. to 12:15 a.m.(beginning August 27)
  • ShoppingTown Mall every 30 minutes from 10 a.m. to midnight
  • The Camillus Lowe's parking lot every 30 minutes from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

One-way fares for park-n-ride shuttles is $2 per person.

The fare will be $1 for those with disabilities, seniors age 65 and older and children ages 6-9.

Children under 6 accompanied by an adult ride for free, and all parking in park-n-ride lots is also free.

Parking has been expanded in the pink lot across from the main gate and there are a limited number of spaces available in the brown and orange lots.

Gate 6 and all interior fairground parking will now only be open to those with NYS Fair parking permits or handicapped license plates.

A coordinated communications plan has been put in place this year that will alert you to the best parking opportunities by using mobile message boards on major highways.

Similar messages will also be sent from the Fair's social media accounts and it's phone app.

Before The Great New York State Fair begins, fairgoers who have bought tickets online or subscribed to the Fair's email newsletter will be sent detailed parking access information.
