New York Beer Project is planning to open a massive brewery and gastropub in Victor. and rumored to be modeled after New Yorks majestic Grand Central Station!  Victor Supervisor Jack Marren said the project has received town approval and major construction is slated to begin in the coming weeks.

We're in Niagara County, kind of off the beaten path so to speak. We get people coming here from all over the place, not what you would expect. TheLocport brewery utilizes a 15 barrel brew house. Since opening, NYBP has upped its brewing capacity three times and the last expansion included the addition of 5-60 barrel fermenters.

Co-owner Krupski said, "they are in the process of obtaining federal and state approval for the brewery". Construction crews broke ground in late June. Steel goes up at the end of July.

"It's going to have quite a presence and it will be gorgeous. The Victor location will have the same New York city vibe," she said. "Winter is too long to not have a place where you feel like you're sitting outside".
