New Years Resolutions-Why Even Bother?
Its almost 2013 and by now most of us have already made our New Years Resolutions. But do we keep them, and if so for how long? Here are a few of the most common ones that probably get broken the fastest.
1) Smoking and drinking– Giving up one bad habit is hard enough, but when you try to give up two together forget it. They both compliment each other. If you are out having a social drink you think maybe one smoke wont hurt, next thing you know you are out buying a pack. And the rest as they say is history.
2) Cutting back on calories– Most of us tend to go to the extreme by just about starving ourselves. That is a no no, because sooner or later those midnight snacks turn into twice as much as we were eating before we made the resolution.
3) Putting things off until the last minute– Not happening, once a procrastinator always a procrastinator. Have a safe and Happy New Year. And for those of you that did make New Years Resolutions, I hope you can keep them. I know I can’t.
