New Traffic Signal On Oriskany Boulevard This Week

A new traffic signal will go into operation this week on Route 5A/Oriskany Boulevard in Yorkville.

The New York State Department of Transportation says the signal has been in flashing mode for the past week.

The signal at the intersection of Oriskany Boulevard and Elm Street at the Aldi's entrance will begin three-color operation tomorrow.

The DOT says motorists should be aware of the addition of the new traffic control device and be prepared to stop.
