Here are some ideas being put together for the 'New Pooch Playground' in West Winfield if they win the $25,000 prize. They have a great positive attitude and need your help. Keep voting at the locations provided below.

This is Miss Denton reading to the dogs. Her goal is to encourage kids to participate in a Read to your Dog ELA Program. That's just one of the ideas for the West Winfield Pooch Playground.

They would also like to have other activities including behavior training, dog socialization classes, agility training, and possibly even a bi-weekly toenail clipping event.

West Winfield has qualified as one of the finalists in the BARK FOR YOUR PARK Contest. They need your votes to win the $25,000 that will be awarded to the smallest community with the biggest heart.

This will be awarded to the community with the highest percentage of votes based on their population. They're the smallest community and the only community from New York State in the competition….LET’S SHOW THEM HOW MUCH HEART WE HAVE !!

According to the press release on 6/19/15:

If West Winfield wins this year’s Bark for Your Park contest, a PetSafe dog park would be built on the northeast end of the Hiteman Leather Superfund Site, according to Mayor Andrew D. Bryce, who has supported West Winfield’s participation in PetSafe’s Bark for Your Park Contest for the last two years.
