Bummer right? As of October 5, 2017, Netflix subscriptions have been increased for certain plans.

We knew it was only a matter of time before the Netflix subscriber price went up. It's just a couple of bucks, so it won't break the bank but still. Aren't you sick of everything going up except for your paycheck?

According to Business Insider, the lowest-tier plan of Netflix won't change but the most popular plan, you know, the one you and I have, the 'standard' plan that includes HD and allow two streams running at the same time is going up from $9.99 to $10.99. The highest-tier plan that provides 4K and four simultaneous streams will go up from $11.99 to $13.99.

So ultimately Netflix is raising their prices $12.00 for some subscribers and $24.00 for others. I think it's still worth it. I love their originals and lots of other binge-worthy shows. So expect the Netflix price hike to show up in the next billing cycle.
