Nelson Mandela has passed away at the age of 95. The world is currently mourning his death, and so are Christmas shoppers. Nelson Mandela action figures are sold out.

Of course these action figures are designed to show children the importance of such a great leader. According to Coed, they have flown off the shelves of Entertainment Earth over the past 24 hours. I would imagine parents would want a piece of history to teach their children about such a great leader.

Here's the products description:

This 12-inch action figure is a respectful presentation of Nelson Mandela and the most highly detailed and accurate Nelson Mandela figure to date! Includes a hand tailored and period correct clothing, authentic accessories, adjustable doll stand, individually numbered certificate of authenticity, biographical pamphlet, and a comprehensive historical timeline. Subject to change."

Apparently they are sold out for the time being. They are even sold out on Amazon. This one seems like a great toy to teach children though:

Talking action figure

Speaks 23 different phrases in the South African president's own voice

Include an individually numbered certificate of authenticity

Also includes a biographical pamphlet of rare photos

Comes dressed in era-accurate clothing that has been hand-tailored"

Do you think this is disrespectful or a good thing?
