The Great Lawn of New York’s Central Park will play host to a massive rock concert on Sept. 29, with the likes of Neil Young and Foo Fighters headlining. The Global Festival hopes to raise awareness and funds to end global poverty.

“We are very proud to be lending a hand to such a creative, important event and are looking forward to adding to the noise in the big park and helping the effort toward reducing the global shame of deep poverty,” Foo Fighters said via statement that was published at Rolling Stone.

New York law requires that ticketed events in public places have to be free and distributed through a lottery. So to get in, fans will have to go to Global Citizen’s website and learn about how to take action against poverty. People who earn points during this process will be entered in the draw to win two tickets. VIP packages, for which a fee can be charged, are available beginning at $189.50 at the festival’s website.

The bill will also feature the Black Keys, Band of Horses and Somali-Canadian rapper K’naan. The concert is an initiative of the Global Poverty Project, and is being promoted by Goldenvoice, the organizers behind the Coachella Festival. The event is being funded by various foundations, corporate sponsors and private donors.
