National Wife Appreciation Day Is This Weekend

National Wife Appreciation Day is celebrated annually on the third Sunday in September. Another day for presents!!! That always works. 

This is a day where your wife is NOT the 'ball and chain,'or 'the old nag.' Wife appreciation Day started as a day for wives who didn't have children and missed out on Mothers Day.

According to National Day Calendar, wives do so many things to make their husbands and homes happy, this is a day for men to let their wives know just how much they appreciate both the little things and big things they do all year.

It's important to remind each other how much we value the other one. We don't know what tomorrow brings so appreciate what you have now.

Husbands, use your imagination on this. You know your wife. Would she like to spend the day alone with you? Would she like a spa day? Would she like presents? Flowers? What about professing your love at the top of your lungs? This doesn't have to cost an arm-and-a-leg, just something to let her know you appreciate her. It will come back to you tenfold.

If you spoil your wife for National Wife Appreciation Day then I'm sure the favor will be returned for National Love Your Husband Day, the 4th Wednesday in January.
