It's an amazing time to be alive scientifically speaking. NASA announced it's discovery of water on Mars, and now it looks like Pluto may have water. Thanks to the New Horizons mission, it was discovered that Pluto has blue skies and water ice on the surface.
According to NASA, New Horizons has detected numerous small, exposed regions of water ice on Pluto.

"Understanding why water appears exactly where it does, and not in other places, is a challenge that we are digging into.”

Even though the planet's average surface temperature is between 375 to 400 degrees below zero, the mission has discovered water ice on the surface. Does that mean there could be life inside? Maybe. However, according to recent experiment, -20°C is the lowest temperature limit for life on Earth. However, that may be different for Pluto.
