My husband moves me out to the middle of no where then sends me off to work braving the icy, snow covered roads.

After living in a area where the roads were (pretty much) always taken care of, it was difficult getting up this morning and realizing what my trip to work will be like. My husband has long been at work  leaving me to fend for myself.

He picks on me constantly for being a woman driver. I don't take offense. It's all in good fun. I pick on him for the really ugly, rust bucket, can't open the driver door, no brakes but has a flashing light for safety  truck he uses to plow the driveway.

Hubby thinks it's easy getting down to the main road (he has been doing it a lot longer than me). Actually I really don't think it's that difficult as long as you take it easy making sure to keep an eye out for tractors, manure spreaders, deer, coyotes, turkeys,  and the occasional rabbit.

I am a woman driver as he calls me. I am careful. I do not intentionally break any rules. I do not put on make-up while driving or fix my hair. I keep my eyes on the road and my hands upon the wheel so to say. Just to prove my point to I recorded my drive to work.

WOMAN DRIVER MY HAIRSPRAY. I will admit I may forget to turn off the coffee pot or the curling iron and I sing to loud and a little off key in the car.
