Sydney Sweeney, the "Handmaid's Tale" star says the new movie filming now in Syracuse will deliver big laughs. Sweeny has been in Syracuse for much of the month of July filming Big Time Adolescence with Pete Davidson, Machine Gun Kelly, and Jon Cryer. This movie makes the fourth movie that has been shot by Liverpool-based production company American High.

The film is a coming of age story and it will get lots of laughs. Pete adds a whole nother level of comedy to the script. Her character, Holly is a girl who is super quirky with pink hair and Zeke's girlfriend. Davidson, who is a Saturday Night Live cast member for the last four years plays Zeke a college dropout who slowly corrupts a 16-year-old boy with a growth hormone deficiency. The cast also includes Thomas Barbusca and Oona Lawrence from Pete's Dragon.

Jason Orley wrote and directs the new movie filming primarily at Syracuse Studios, the former A.V. Zogg Middle School in Liverpool. Producer Jeremy Garelick, best known for directing the "The Wedding Ringer" and uncredited writing for the "Hangover", bought the school last year to transform it into a movie studio and film school.
