Its HELP WANTED on the "Sid is Dead" set now filming in CNY with Jeremy Garelick's production company, American High.

Extras will be paid $10.72 per hour and needed through November 16, 2018, for the movie filming now at the Liverpool-based American High. Syracuse.com reports the production is especially looking for extras who can resemble high school students for scenes at Syracuse Studios (the former A.V. Zogg Middle School) located at 800 Fourth Street in Liverpool. Actors must be 18 or older. Email extras@americanhigh.com. if you're interested. 

"Sid is Dead" is the 5th movie in CNY for Hollywood filmmaker Jeremy Garelick who's best known for "The Hangover," "The Break-Up" and "The Wedding Ringer."

Movie Insider says the storyline for "Sid is Dead" centers on a socially invisible high school senior, Sid (Bragg) who, after slipping up and getting the school’s biggest bully suspended, realizes he may only have two weeks left to experience everything he’s ever missed out on.

Stars of the movie include:

Joey Bragg as Sid -  Best known for Liv and Maddie (2013), The Outfield (2015) and Mark & Russell's Wild Ride (2015).

Tyler Alvarez as Jim, Sid's best friend - Best known for American Vandal (2017), Orange Is the New Black (2013) and The Pretenders (2018).

Jack Griffo as Eric, captain of the hockey team - Best known for playing the lead in Nickelodeon's hit show, "The Thundermans".

Genevieve Hannelius as Tiff, Sid's crush  - Best known for starring on the three-time Emmy-nominated Disney Channel series, "Dog with a Blog".

"Sid is Dead" follows four other American High movies shot over the past year and a half and Syracuse.com shows the lineup like this:

  • "Holly Slept Over," starring Ron Livingston ("Office Space") and Natalie Emmanuel ("Game of Thrones").
  • "Banana Split," starring Dylan Sprouse ("Big Daddy," "Suite Life of Zack & Cody") and Hannah Marks.
  • "Looks That Kill," starring Brandon Flynn ("13 Reasons Why").
  • "Big Time Adolescence," starring Pete Davidson ("Saturday Night Live"), Machine Gun Kelly ("Roadies"), Griffin Gluck ("American Vandal") and Jon Cryer ("Two and a Half Men," "Pretty in Pink").

Release dates have not yet been announced.
