A drunk millionaire playboy refuses to settle down with the woman his family has arranged for him to be with.Arthur is a drunk whose millions have left him lonely and with no motivation in life. He is on the threshold of an arranged marriage with a woman he is not in love with. Everyone expects him to behave himself, but no one really cares about his well being, with the exception of his father figure butler Mr. Hobson and a blue collar shop lifter named Linda. Arthur would prefer to marry Linda, but his grandmother threatens to pull the plug on his huge inheritance if he does not honor his position in life and marry Susan.
