Coffee?  Yes please.  You may know by now, given how much I talk about it, I just love coffee.  Absolutely adore it.  More than half of grown up people, including those who are technically grown up, drink coffee each and every day.  Now that’s a lot of Joe.

I’ve blogged before about the benefits of drinking coffee before, but did I mention how it is packed with antioxidants?  Here is yet another benefit, recently reported, this lovely brewed concoction can also decrease the risk for liver cancer.

Research has found continued enjoyment of coffee, can lower liver cancer risk by 14 per cent.  The researchers are not quite positive as to why the elixir might protect against this disease, but it is strongly believed that there are certain compounds in the beverage that help fight toxins related to cancer.

Easy there Hoss, although these benefits could be awesome news, there is no research that indicates that these statistics help reverse the effect of alcohol use.

I like mine black please, oh, and hot, never iced.  Ugh.
