Minority Report Comes To Television

Remember the Spielberg directed film, starring Tom Cruise, that came out in 2002 called ‘Minority Report’?  Sci-Fi at it’s finest in this guy’s opinion.  Well, good news, MR fans, a TV series adaptation of Minority Report is being worked on, according to recent reports.

You remember Tom Cruise in this futuristic society where police can apprehend criminals even before the crimes have been committed based on information from psychics called “precogs”.  The movie did quite well at the box office and is considered a sci-fi classic, so let’s see how this pans out as a TV show.  I’ll try to keep you updated with details as I get them.  My question is are they going to have a lead character, like that of Captain John Anderton (Tom Cruise)?  Time will tell, I guess.  Maybe I’ll ask my neighbor. I think he is a precog.
