The Who to Release ‘Live in Texas ’75′ DVD

A classic concert by the Who previously available only on bootleg will soon get an official release. ‘The Who Live in Texas ’75,’ a document of their Nov. 20, 1975 concert at the Summit in Houston, will be out on DVD and digital video on Oct. 9.

 

John Lennon’s Killer, Mark David Chapman, Denied Parole

For the seventh time since being convicted of killing John Lennon, Mark David Chapman has been denied parole. The New York Department of Corrections announced the ruling this morning, meaning he will serve at least two more years in jail. Chapman has been eligible for parole every two years since 2000, and will be up once again in 2014. He was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison after pleading guilty to second degree murder of John Lennon on December 8, 1980 will

 

Madonna Ending Feud With Elton John

Madonna is calling for an end to her feud with Elton John dedicating one of her songs to Sir Elton during a recent concert in France. She forgives him for calling her a "fairground stripper." It all went down Tuesday night when Madonna dedicated her song "Masterpiece" to Elton, saying, "I know he's a big fan of it. And I know he's a big fan of mine. And you know? I forgive him. Gotta start somewhere."
