Look Out Nutella, Here Comes Spreadable Reese’s

Lookout Nutella, Reese’s is hot on your tail.  Did you really think that they were going to let Nutella continue to dominate the spreadable chocolate and nut genre?  Personally I can’t wait to try it, although, of late I have been trying to go low carb.  Maybe on a celery carrot stick? They say there is no wrong way to eat it.   Hmmm…interesting.

I have heard that when you open a jar of the new Reese’s spreadable, you instantly are reminded of how a Reese’s peanut butter cup tastes.  The taste is identical to the famous cups, and the spread is a slightly grainy texture to match the inside of the peanut butter cup.

The 13 oz. jar retails for $3.89 and can be found nationwide at grocery and convenience stores. I could put it on a carrot stick, but maybe I will be eating my peanut butter chocolate spread straight from the jar (with a spoon, to be civilized), but I can just imagine it working nicely as icing on a cupcake, sandwiched between two cookies or baked into brownies. Brownies are low carb, right?
