Legos have certainly come a long way from when I was playing with them many moons ago. I recall, as a child getting a bucket of Legos for Christmas. A bucket with no instructions on how to make anything. Just a bunch of different sized blocks..no imagination included. Look how far these crazy things have come? My son for his birthday, received Lego Batman 3, the video game that allows you to maneuver your own Lego character through a series of quests. There are lots of these games out there on most video game systems. Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, Lego Harry Potter, Lego Star Wars, just to name a few.

With the games there are no sharp pieces to step on in the middle of the night.
If you have been in any toy store in America, you have seen that there is typically an entire aisle dedicated to these plastic building sets, now completely themed with complete instructions on how to build whatever picture is on the box.

And they are getting more expensive as well. I’m not even sure you can buy a bucket of Legos anymore. Can you? I haven’t seen them. They have to be Star Wars, or Ninjago, or Lego City, etc.
