Local Filmmaker to Release Documentary on the Village of Ilion [VIDEO]

Michael Patrei is a native of Ilion, NY and he realized there is a lot of historical significance in the development of this small Mohawk Valley village. He decided it's story needed to be told and so his film company, The Ilion Film Company, decided to make the film "Portrait of an American Town, Ilion, NY."

According to the Ilion Film Company website,

This documentary film on the history of Ilion, N.Y. will take a look at the history of the United States of America through the eyes of the people from this small town. It will tell the story of how one small American town and its people are a reflection of this country as a whole.

The release date for this film is slated for the Fall of 2016 so keep your eyes and ears open!
