It seems like we've reached peak zombie saturation in media, but the new indie comedy 'Life After Beth' is ready to revive (ahem) the genre with a new take on the subject matter. Judging by the first trailer, the new film, starring Aubrey Plaza, Dane DeHaan, and a whole cast of wonderful funny people, is going to be something special.

MTV has the first trailer for 'Life After Beth,' which follows Zach Orfman (DeHaan), a guy whose girlfriend Beth (Plaza) comes back from the dead. And while it seems like a delightful miracle at first, Beth starts spiraling out of control as her natural zombie inclinations take over -- namely, that she needs to eat people.

Bolstered by a cast that includes John C. Reilly, Molly Shannon, Anna Kendrick, Alia Shawkat, Paul Reiser, and Cheryl Hines, 'Life After Beth' is sure to be a hilarious entry in the zom-rom-com genre. It's also great to see DeHaan play a character who isn't just sort of brooding and antisocial, so we're looking forward to that.
