Law Enforcement Is Cracking Down On Distracted Driving

The weather is starting to be nicer, motorcycles are out, car windows are down, and we’re seeing more distracted drivers than ever before because people continue to ignore laws about using cell phones while driving. 

Here’s a newsflash, just in case you haven’t already heard;  Law enforcement is cracking down bigger than ever and they are not kidding.

But it’s not just the texting and driving, drinking and driving, lack of sleep driving.  Distracted driving can be something as simple as changing a radio station, or dealing with an out of control child in the back seat.

Law enforcement agencies have determined that these distractions can be just as dangerous, which is why you will be seeing an increase in officers looking for just this type of thing all

We’ve been told for years that it’s all about being ready for the unexpected while driving, and in order to do that, you have to pay strict attention to the road.

Remember, it’s illegal to read, compose, or send texts and email while driving, and this includes sitting at a stoplight or stop sign.  It’s time to put an end to this folks.  I could sit outside my door and count all day the people violating this law.  It’s unfortunate, but I can.
