The water conditions were perfect this week for 3 daring Upstate New York kayakers to take the ultimate adventure on the Black River near Watertown.  Heavy rains had raised the water level to the point where the men felt comfortable making the 40-foot drop over Brownville Falls, known to some as "Bovine Falls."

Tony Gianfagna, Eric Adsit and Dylan Updike all work as whitewater raft guides on the Back River during the summer months.   The told NYup.com that it is rare for the conditions to be right for them to even consider the four-story jump.  Luckily, the three kayakers live in the Watertown area and could react quickly when the river conditions were ideal for the drop.
