Later today, Katie Couric will make a stunning announcement on her talk show. She has suffered with an eating disorder. Her guest today is singer and “The X Factor” judge Demi Lovato. In the taped interview, she tells Lovato (quote) “I wrestled with bulimia all through college and for two years after that.” The 55-year-old journalist overcame her eating issues through therapy and a better understanding of the long term ramifications of the disease.

 

Lindsay Lohan Suing Alleged Hit-&-Run Victim

Linsday Lohan is hitting the guy who accused her of hit-and-run with a lawsuit. TMZ says Linds plans to sue Jose Rodriguez for demation after he said the actress was slurring and "smelled like alcohol real bad" at the time of the incident. Police and eyewitnesses say Lindsay hadn't been drinking and alcohol was not a factor in the alleged accident.

 

Lynyrd Skynyrd Anger Some Fans by Denouncing the Confederate Flag

Legendary Southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd have angered some fans by announcing that they will stop using the confederate flag, which for much of their career had been featured prominently on their stages, logos, t-shirts and other tour merchandise. The band recently told CNN that the group does recognize the racial divide that comes with the flag, which was flown by the confederacy of 11 southern “slave” states who seceded from America during the Civil War.

 

Canadian KFC Serves Up Raw Chicken Burger

Last week a KFC diner in the Toronto-area served up a chicken burger only to find that somebody forgot to stick the chicken part in the deep fryer. The photo was snapped by his dining companion and a member of the Reddit community, who then posted it on the social news website under the headline Fried Chicken #Fail.
