The members of Kansas still aren't finished commemorating the 40th anniversary of their landmark Leftoverture LP, but they've already lined up a new live album to celebrate the milestone with fans.

On Nov. 3, the band's set to release Leftoverture Live & Beyond, a collection of concert performances culled from their ongoing Leftoverture 40th anniversary tour. The new set, which will be available on digital formats as well as double-disc CD and a 4-LP vinyl box, finds the band once again working with producer Jeff Glixman, who helmed the original Leftoverture LP.

"When we saw how much our fans enjoyed the Leftoverture 40th Anniversary Tour shows, we knew we had to record a live album," said Kansas drummer Phil Ehart. "When it came to finding someone to produce it, we thought the best possible person would be the guy that produced Leftoverture 40 years ago. So we called Jeff Glixman!"

"I'm really excited with how this live album sounds," added Glixman. "This band is on fire. Producing this live album was truly an undertaking, but I am confident that Kansas fans will enjoy the end result."

Pre-orders for Leftoverture Live & Beyond begin Aug. 23 via the band's official site, where fans can also check out upcoming tour dates. The group's schedule is already loaded up for the next several months, with Leftoverture 40th anniversary dates booked through mid-December.
