Today is a Monday, and so was December 8th, 1980, the day we lost John Lennon. I was too young to remember where I was or what I was doing that day, but 34 years later it is impossible not to feel the impact of that fateful day. In an effort to put myself there in those moments, I found this 45-minute documentary piece detailing the events leading up to his death and the reactions of the people that knew him best and others who unwittingly found themselves suddenly a part of history....

And being that I was two when John was killed, this movie finally introduced me to what it must've been like for those that felt like they knew John and what the conversation might've gone like in some households across America.
