Matt "Megatoad" Stonie was clearly excited after his victory at Nathan's 99th International Hot Dog Eating Contest in New York. This was a surprising upset as Joey Chestnut previously won eight straight titles at the annual Fourth of July eating contest at Brooklyn's Coney Island.

In just 10 minutes Stonie put away 62 hot dogs and buns to Chestnut's 60. This was a close match right to the very end. Joey Chestnut's eight year winning streak is over for now. He say's he will compete again next year. When asked what happened he said "I was slow and he was eating fast."

Next year it will be the 100th anniversary of Nathan's International Hot Dog Eating Contest. Bet a lot of buns show up for that.

Anyone craving a hot dog? You probably won't be after you watch this. In this contest table manners are checked at the door.
