Josh Brown missed a 48-yard field goal that would have extended the game, and for the third time this season the New York Giants let another double-digit, fourth quarter lead slip away, allowing the crosstown Jets to score the game's final 13 points and pull-off a 23-20 overtime win in a NY-NY battle at MetLife Stadium.

Officially serving as the home team, the Giants were inept on offense the entire day, but managed to build a 20-10 lead at the half - helped by a Dwayne Harris 80-yard punt return for a touchdown. The Giants could only muster a field-goal after a turnover setup a first-and-goal from the Jets' ten-yard line in the first half, then Tom Coughlin passed on a field-goal attempt in the second half that resulted in an Eli Manning interception on a fourth-and-two from the Jets' four-yard line.

Josh Brown's hooked, game-tying attempt from 48-yards out  was his first missed FG of the season and came after Big Blue's defense was able to hold the Jets to three-points one their first possession of OT.

For the Jets (7-5), Ryan Fitzpatrick tallied 390 yards and two touchdowns, including one to Brandon Marshall - who had 131-receiving yards on a dozen catches. Eric Decker had eight for 101 yards as Gang Green picked up a big win in their pursuit of an AFC Wild Card. They'll host the Titans next Sunday.

Eli Manning had 297 yards passing, an interception and threw a touchdown pass to Odell Beckham Jr (6-149-1). The Giants are in Miami for a Monday Night meeting with the Dolphins next week.
