Jacob Lusk was eliminated from “American Idol” last night. Jacob struggled through his renditions of “No Air” and “Love Hurts” Wednesday. “I think his nerves are getting the best of him,” music executive/mentor Jimmy Iovine said of the performances. “When you lose confidence, everyone knows it.” With a season-high 60 million votes cast, Jacob wound up at the bottom. A tearful Lauren Alaina joined Jacob in the Bottom Two – her first time there. Jacob sang the show out with “A House Is Not a Home,” using the final seconds to sing every high note he thought of. Scotty McCreery, Haley Reinhart, James Durbin and Lauren Alaina will return next week. Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez proved why she is fit to be a judge on “American Idol” when she took the stage to perform her new single “On The Floor,” which has hit No. 1 in 18 countries. Lady Antebellum performed “Just a Kiss,” which is slated to be on their upcoming third album.
