Injured Inmate Caught Doing Pushups

Jail

A prison inmate in Iowa tried to get out from behind bars by claiming he was so disabled that he couldn’t use his arms. Now seems like a good way to get out of prison, except his plot was foiled when he was caught doing push-ups in his prison cell.

Anquin, who was jailed on suspicion of assaulting a bartender, wanted to be released on the grounds he couldn’t move his arms or walk for more than 15 seconds at a time. Unfortunately for Anquin, there was a surveillance camera right outside his holding cell, which captured his workout in all its sweaty glory. Instead of freedom, he wound up having his bail doubled, and remains in the clink.
