Harborfest is a 3-day event that kicks off Thursday, July 27 with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees and original founding members of Sly and The Family Stone including Jerry Martini, Greg Errico, Phunne Stone, the daughter of Sly Stone and the late Cynthia Robinson, and Alex Davis on vocals. The band is celebrating their 50 anniversary with psychedelic funk classics of the 60’s and 70’s. Hear ‘Family Affair,’ ‘Hot Fun in the Summertime,’ ‘Everyday People’ and ‘Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)’ at 9 pm on Thursday, July 27 on the NRG Lakeview Stage in Breitbeck Park.
The big hair generation is thrilled as Night Ranger, who’s celebrating their 35 anniversary, is ready to play the free festival in Oswego this summer. Go back in time with “Don’t Tell Me You Love,” “(You Can Still) Rock in America,” and more on Friday, July 28. Their last CNY show was at the Del Lago in April looks like they’re ready to rock CNY again with The Night Ranger lineup features Jack Blades (bass, vocals), Kelly Keagy (drums, vocals), Brad Gillis (lead & rhythm guitars), Eric Levy (keyboards), and Keri Kelli (lead and rhythm guitars), .
The Harborfest in Oswego is 3-dayay event July 27 – July 30 that brings about 100,000 fans into the area. Since inception in 1988, this free event has brought more than 600 national, regional and local artists to their stage.
