Herkimer Ranks Among Best Community Colleges In New York State

Herkimer College has been ranked eighth by Schools.com on their 2017 list of the best community colleges in New York state.

Schools.com ranked 35 community colleges affiliated with the either SUNY or CUNY.

Each school was ranked in categories like student-to-faculty ratio, cost and graduation and transfer rates.

Herkimer ranked number two for online learning and the college's in-state tuition is among the lowest in New York state.

Herkimer College President Cathleen McColgin said, “This ranking validates the superb value that Herkimer College offers for both on-campus and online students. We are proud to continue to be ranked among the best community colleges in the state.”
