Herkimer Ranked 2nd Best Community College In New York

Out of the 121 community colleges in New York State, Herkimer College has been ranked second best for the 2016-2017 academic year.  EDsmart.org ranked the college based on accreditation, affordability, academic quality and student satisfaction.

The local college scored 91.75 out of a possible 100 points for it's $7,487 net price, 36 percent graduation rate, 27 percent transfer rate and 61 percent retention rate, as reported by the Herkimer Times Telegram.

In addition to this ranking, CNNMoney ranked Herkimer in the top 100 community colleges in the nation for student success.  Also, the Aspen Institute recognized Herkimer College in the top 150 community colleges in the nation.
