Think about this for a moment, if you are a parent like I am.  How would you feel if you were not able to locate your child?  Even if it were for a brief moment. I shutter at the thought, myself.  Look at today’s environment.  Most kids are never without some sort of adult supervision from when they leave the house in the morning to get on the bus, until they are dropped off in the afternoon.

The National Center for Mission and Exploited children has indicated that there are almost 500,000 cases of missing children currently on file.  That is way too many.  One is way too many.

Local authorities are working together to assist parents with steps necessary for you to be prepared in the case that your child should go missing.

It is a parent’s worst nightmare, not being able to locate your child. The National Center for Missing and Exploited children say there are nearly half a million cases reported in the United States.

There are some new techniques that hopefully will assist law enforcement agencies in keeping our children safe.  It’s called digital fingerprinting and it means these agencies are able to produce FBI quality images that can be used to help locate a missing child.
